Two arrested over Bingara suspected murder
Two men have been arrested in connection with the disappearance and suspected murder of a man in New England almost a decade ago.
Darren Royce Willis was last seen leaving the Imperial Hotel at Bingara on December 10, 2010.
NSW police arrested two men aged 47 and 48 in the Bingara area on Friday and they were taken to Moree police station for questioning.
Superintendent Scott Tanner said the disappearance had had a "massive effect" on the local community and that police were doing everything they could to bring someone to justice over this "heinous crime".
