Man charged in SA over Melbourne shooting
A man has been arrested and charged in South Australia after a shooting in Melbourne's southeast.
Officers were called to the shooting scene at Carnegie about 2.15pm on September 18 but the 43-year-old victim had taken himself to hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
An Elsternwick man was arrested in Suttontown, north of Mt Gambier in South Australia, on Saturday.
The 39-year-old has been charged with intentionally cause serious injury and also being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
He will face a South Australian Court on Tuesday where Victorian detectives will apply for his extradition.
