Three charged over kidnap of Qld man

Two men and a woman have been charged with kidnapping and multiple other offences after a man was held against his will and robbed at knifepoint at a Brisbane property.

Police say a 27-year-old Everton Park man had been communicating with a woman on social media for a month before meeting up with her at a Crestmead address around 11am on Tuesday.

It's alleged the man became unconscious after consuming a drink provided by the woman.

When he woke up, police say two men threatened him with a knife, demanded his credit card and forced him to sign over ownership of his BMW.

The trio then allegedly drove him to an ATM and forced him to withdraw money from his bank account before he was freed.

Three people were arrested a short time later.

A 21-year-old Beenleigh woman, a 32-year-old Beenleigh man and a 32-year-old Crestmead man have all been charged with kidnapping for ransom, and multiple other offences.

All three will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
