Driver charged after child critically hurt
A woman has been charged more than three months after a serious crash in the NSW Central Tablelands which left a six-year-old girl critically injured.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash at Portland, near Lithgow, on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 6, according to NSW Police.
Police say a woman, then 32, and three girls - two aged four and the other six - were in the car at the time.
All four were hospitalised, with the six-year-old airlifted to The Children's Hospital at Westmead where she's still receiving treatment.
On Tuesday, police served a 33-year-old woman with a court attendance notice on a charge of negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.
She's expected to face Lithgow Local Court in August.
