Woman behind bars after NSW stabbing

A woman is behind bars after a man was stabbed three times in the neck in the NSW Southern Tablelands.

The 33-year-old woman was arrested after emergency services were called to a home on Caoura Crescent in Goulburn about 4pm on Sunday, following reports of a stabbing, police say.

The 39-year-old man was found bleeding significantly from three wounds to his neck and was rushed to Goulburn Hospital before being airlifted to Canberra in a critical but stable condition.

The pair are known to each other, police said.

The woman was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. She was refused bail and will appear in Goulburn Local Court on Monday.
