Man charged over fatal Sydney stabbing
A man has been charged over the fatal stabbing of a neighbour who died in the driveway of a western Sydney unit complex.
Emergency services were called following reports of two men fighting at the complex in North Parramatta about 9pm on Thursday. They found a man, 45, with wounds to his back and neck. He died at the scene.
A 35-year-old man was arrested early on Friday morning inside a unit at the address after a stand-off with police and taken to hospital.
He was charged with murder on Monday evening after he was released from hospital. He was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday.
