Melbourne shooting victim on life support
A man shot in the face in Melbourne's west a week ago remains on life support, prosecutors have told a court where two men appeared charged with attempted murder.
Police on Monday asked for extra time in Melbourne Magistrates Court to put together a brief of evidence against Mark Dixon, 30, and Jack Harvey, 26, who were arrested on February 27 over the shooting in Point Cook six days earlier.
The prosecutor said the prognosis of the victim, who remains in an induced coma and on life support, is unclear and the outcome could mean different charges for Dixon and Harvey.
