Fifth person charged over Vic cop bashing
A fifth person has been charged over a vicious attack on two Melbourne policemen who were left severely battered and bruised.
A 26-year-old St Kilda man has been charged with two counts of assault police officer, violent disorder, affray, two counts of intentionally cause injury and assault by kicking, and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
It comes after three men, aged 26 to 38, and a 25-year-old Langwarrin woman appeared in the same court a day earlier over Sunday's St Kilda assault.
