Air force show off aerial stunts in Vic
Flying just three metres apart at speeds up to 550km/h, the Royal Australian Air Force's aerobatic crew will put on a show before their planes enter retirement.
The force's Roulette's will give the Pilatus PC-9/A trainer aircraft a spin above the RAAF Museum Point Cook on Sunday afternoon, ahead of their final display at the Avalon Air Show next month.
The planes will fly just three metres apart while showing off with aerobatics and flypasts down to 70 metres above the ground and at speeds of up to 550km/hr.
The planes have been based at the force's base in East Sale as part of the flying school to teach navy and air force pilots to become flying instructors.
The aircraft will be replaced with the Swiss-designed and Australian built, Pilatus PC/21 which the force states are the "world's most advanced pilot training aircraft".
