Green in the hunt at Australian Open golf
For local hope Hannah Green, it's all about the vibe at the Australian Open.
The Perth golfer enters Saturday's third round at the Grange Golf Club as the best-placed Australian - she's three strokes behind joint leaders Wei-Ling Hsu and Madelene Sagstrom.
The 22-year-old Green finished third in last year's open and tied for seventh in 2017.
Those placings gave Green great confidence arriving in Adelaide for the fresh tournament.
"I didn't want to expect too much but I know I have good past history playing this event," she said.
"I definitely have good vibes when I come to Adelaide."
Green said she wouldn't change her mindset entering the weekend despite Hsu reckoning 18-under will be needed to win come Sunday.
"I just want to keep everything as similar to what I have been doing the last two days," Green said.
"It's obviously got me into a good position so hopefully I can keep it consistent."
Five-time winner Karrie Webb will start her third round at three-under, alongside compatriots Karis Davidson and Minjee Lee.
After shooting a two-over 74 on Friday, Webb said Saturday's third round could prove decisive.
"I don't think there's much wind forecast for Sunday, so definitely (Saturday) is key to have a good round," she said.
