Man in court over attack on Syd bus driver
A bus passenger who allegedly attacked a driver with a knife is expected to face a Sydney court on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to Blacktown railway station about 1.30pm on Saturday where they found a bus driver, aged in his 30s, with a cut to his ear.
Police allege an 18-year-old male passenger attacked the driver before fleeing on foot.
The driver was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment while the alleged attacker was arrested when he showed up to Blacktown Hospital a short time later.
He has been charged with malicious wounding with intent and is set to face Parramatta Local Court.
