Man pulled unconscious from rural NSW pool

A man has been rescued from a swimming pool in regional NSW after being found floating facedown in the water.

The middle-aged man was pulled from the water in Scone in the NSW Hunter region on Christmas day, a NSW Ambulance spokesman said.

The man had been in the pool for up to two minutes.

He was unconscious when rescued, according to a spokesman for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, which was sent to the scene.

The man is now conscious, according to NSW Ambulance.
