ATAR scores reissued in Tas after error

University entrance rankings for all Tasmanian high school graduates have been reissued after a blunder saw some students receive the wrong results.

Some year 12 students received lower-than-expected Australian Tertiary Entrance Rank (ATAR) rankings on Tuesday after a mistake was made calculating scores for University of Tasmania High Achiever Program and University Connections Program units.

ATAR scores were reissued statewide late on Tuesday night, with state Education Minister Jeremy Rockliff assuring students the error would not impact their chances of being accepted into tertiary study.
