Charge after brick thrown on Vic road

A woman has been charged after a brick was allegedly thrown from a car on a major Melbourne freeway.

It is alleged the item was launched from a stolen vehicle at another car along the Monash freeway between Hallam and Narre Warren on November 19, causing no injuries but minor damage.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested by police in Dandenong on Thursday and charged with offences including theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and discharging a missile.

She will re-appear at Dandenong Magistrates Court on December 19.
