Tasmania bowl Qld out for 107 in Shield

Tasmania have bowled Queensland out for 107 early on day two of the Sheffield Shield match in Hobart.

Resuming at 8-86 on Saturday, Tigers quick Jackson Bird (3-40) claimed the final two wickets of Michael Neser (27) and Luke Feldman (four) inside the first half-hour.

The Tigers lead by 60 after posting 167 on the opening day where a stunning 18 wickets fell.

Matthew Wade (63) top-scored for Tasmania after the hosts were sent in on a Bellerive Oval wicket with a bit of life.

The former Test wicketkeeper hit nine fours in a knock that puts him at the top of the Shield scorers (531) this season with five 50s and a century.

Michael Neser and Mark Steketee took three wickets each for the Bulls.

In reply, the Bulls crumbled in the final session, with Tigers' second-game seamer Alex Pyecroft taking 5-18.

Test-experienced Bulls Matthew Renshaw, Joe Burns and Marnus Labuschagne, made starts but failed to go on.
