Moore Park venues to get a $65m makeover
Sydney's Hordern Pavilion will remain a premier live music and entertainment venue under a multimillion-dollar revamp at Moore Park, the NSW government says.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian and other state government ministers on Saturday announced the government would put $20 million towards a $65 million makeover of the pavilion and the Royal Hall of Industries.
The latter will become the Sydney Swans Headquarters and the home of the NSW Swifts Netball Club, two indigenous education foundations and a Red Cross blood donation centre.
"In addition to a public cafe and museum, the new space will house an international standard netball court and a multi-purpose recreation and function space that will be accessible to the community," Environment and Heritage Minister Gabrielle Upton said in a statement.
