Man critical after Perth police 'removal'
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he stopped breathing while being removed from a Perth property by police.
Paramedics had already been called to the Ballajura residence on Friday after police were alerted to an incident at the home and they took him outside because he was behaving erratically.
Police say he was immediately given emergency first aid before being brought to Royal Perth Hospital where he is in a critical condition.
The Homicide Squad and Internal Affairs Unit are overseeing an investigation into what happened.
