Is a tiara Meghan's something borrowed?
If Meghan Markle decides to wear a tiara as her "something borrowed" on her wedding day, she'll have an impressive array to chose from.
Recent royal brides have worn tiaras either gifted or loaned to them by family members, including Queen Elizabeth II, on their big days.
Catherine Middleton famously wore the Cartier Halo tiara, on loan from the Queen, when she wed Prince William while Sarah, Duchess of York was gifted a piece from Garrards by the monarch.
Christine Ross, who's been chronicling Markle's style on the blog Meghan's Mirror since 2016, predicts the US actress will wear the Strathmore Rose tiara as she walks down the aisle.
"The Strathmore Rose tiara is a solid bet, but I could also see her in a bandeau tiara, which is a bit more modern and fresh," she told AAP.
While there's no word yet on whether Ms Markle will choose to wear a tiara or go with a more modern look, here's a look at a few of the options she could wear.

THE STRATHMORE ROSE TIARA
A gift to the Queen Mother, then the Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, from her father the Earl of Strathmore on her wedding day to the Duke of York, later King George VI.
The tiara features rose-cut diamonds mounted in silver and gold.

THE LOVER'S KNOT
Fashioned out of pearls and diamonds the Lover's Knot was a favourite of the late Princess Diana.
The popular tiara was originally made for the Queen Mary by famous court jeweller Garrard, to replicate a 200-year-old tiara owned by her grandmother.
On her death, Queen Mary left the tiara to her granddaughter Queen Elizabeth, who wore it many times before loaning it to Princess Diana.
After Diana's death, the tiara made its way back to the Queen and has since been worn by her granddaughter-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge.

THE QUEEN MOTHER'S CARTIER BANDEAU
This sleek bandeau is made up of a set of Cartier bracelets given to the Queen Mother by her husband in the 1920s when she was the Duchess of York.
The art deco piece features a trio of the five bracelets set on a frame. The Queen Mother typically wore low on her forehead, in keeping with 1920 fashions.
The jewellery was passed to Queen Elizabeth, who has been spotted sporting the bracelets.

QUEEN MARY'S FRINGE TIARA
Worn by Princess Elizabeth at her wedding to Prince Philip the tiara is was originally a diamond necklace.
Queen Mary had Garrad fashion the jewels into a tiara in 1893.
The design features 47 diamond bars divided by smaller diamond spikes and can still be worn as a necklace.
Queen Mary gave the tiara to the then-Queen Elizabeth in 1936 who then lent it to her daughter Princess Elizabeth to wear on her wedding day.
It was also worn by Princess Anne at her first wedding to Captain Mark Phillips.

THE CARTIER HALO
An unlikely choice as it is currently on loan in Australia, the Cartier Halo was worn by Catherine Middleton when she married Prince William.
The delicate tiara was commissioned as a gift by the Queen's father when he was the Duke of York for his wife.
It was later given to the Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, as a gift on her 18th birthday in 1944.
The Queen later loaned the piece to her sister Princess Margaret and her daughter Princess Anne - before it famously appeared on Miss Middleton's head at one of the world's most watched weddings.

THE SPENCER TIARA
Another unlikely choice as the Spencer Tiara is an heirloom of the family of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
Diana chose to wear the tiara on the day of her wedding to Prince Charles.
While Ms Markle and Prince Harry told the BBC after the announcement of their engagement they wanted Diana involved in their day, it isn't thought the tiara will be how this is done.
