Luxury boat explodes into flames in NSW
Four people have managed to escape before a million-dollar luxury motor boat was destroyed by a fire that authorities believe was deliberately lit as the vessel was moored on a northern NSW river.
The four people on board, who'd been sleeping, fled the boat just before midnight on Tuesday as it was engulfed in flames on the Coolongolook River near the Wallis Lake inlet.
The extensively damaged boat was assessed before being towed by local fishing trawlers out to sea where it sank 30 meters to the ocean floor.
