Woman run down in Sydney road rage
A woman has multiple fractures after being hit twice by a car in a road rage incident in Sydney's innerwest.
The 49-year-old woman was standing on a road in Waterloo early on Thursday when she was run down by a female driver who she knew, NSW Police say.
The woman has undergone surgery at St Vincent's Hospital for multiple fractures and facial injuries and is in a stable condition.
The 50-year-old driver of the car fled but was later arrested at a home in Beverley Park, police said.
She is facing a string of charges including dangerous driving and failing to stop and will appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on January 15.
