WA man charged after baby's death
A 25-year-old man has been charged over the death of a two-month-old boy in Western Australia's Goldfields-Esperance region.
Police were called to a domestic disturbance in Laverton for the second time on Friday where they found the baby unresponsive and rushed him to hospital, but he could not be revived.
A man has been charged with aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm over an alleged assault on the baby's mother, and failing to protect a child from harm.
Because officers attended the house before the child was found unresponsive, the Internal Affairs Unit will examine the police response.
