White Night returns to Melbourne
White Night is returning to Melbourne next summer.
Premier Daniel Andrews says the Victorian government will fund the dusk to dawn arts festival again next year.
The February event has attracted 1.3 million people over the past three years.
"This is a great event, a fantastic celebration of all that is Melbourne," Mr Andrews said.
"That creative edge, that's what sets us apart from so many other cities and it's a great source of economic advantage."
Mr Andrews wouldn't say how much the event was going to cost the government, but said it was on par with previous years.
He also couldn't promise funding for the event beyond next year, saying the festival had to prove itself.
