One still trapped in Vic gyrocopter crash
One person is trapped and a man has suffered serious injuries after a gyrocopter has crashed in water near Melbourne.
The homemade helicopter crashed just before 12.30pm at Cannons Creek, about 60km southeast of Melbourne.
One person is still trapped inside the gyroplane that's submerged in the water.
A man in his 30s was rescued and suffered chest and collar bone injuries, an Ambulance Victoria spokesman said.
He was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The gyrocopter appears to have gone down in shallow water about 30 metres from shore.
