Celebs who have lied about their age

Rebel Wilson has been around a little longer than we all thought - six years longer in fact.

It has been revealed the Australian comedy star is 35 years old, despite her age being widely reported and listed online as 29.

Australian business records have now been unearthed that list a "Rebel Melanie Elizabeth Wilson" as being 35.

But the Pitch Perfect star is not the first to pull the wool over our wrinkle-blind eyes.

Here's a look at some other celebrities who have lied about their age:

* GERI HALLIWELL

Ginger Spice said she was 21 when the Spice Girls rocketed to stardom with their hit Wannabe.

A suspicious British press quickly gave her the nickname `Old Spice' because she looked, well, older than she claimed.

And it later emerged she actually was - 25 in fact.

* MILA KUNIS

The Black Swan star told a little white lie about her age in order to land her first big gig in television.

Kunis told producers of That 70's Show that she was nearly 18 when auditioning for the show, but she was really only 14.

She admitted it in 2012 but remained adamant it was not technically a lie, telling Jay Leno: "At one point ... I was going to be 18."

* SANDRA BULLOCK

Like Kunis, Bullock also pretended to be older than she was to get a job.

The Gravity star said she was 29 to land herself the role of a scientist in the 1992 comedy Love Potion - but she was really a few years younger.

Bullock later told Vanity Fair magazine: "After a while, you have no idea how old you are because you've lied so many times."

* NICKI MINAJ

The Anaconda rapper had her age secret ruined by none other than the cops after she was involved in a fight in 2011.

Minaj had been saying she was 26, but a police report following a confrontation at her home with her maid revealed she was in fact 28.

* NICOLE SCHERINGER

The former Pussycat Doll admitted in 2008 that she was about to turn 30, when the band's website listed her as 28.

Scheringer laughed off the mishap when questioned about it, saying: "I should've said I was 27."

* EMINEM

Slim Shady told interviewer Howard Stern in 1999 that he was 24. He was 27 at the time.

Who knows why the My Name Is rapper lied - but we can be sure he'll never pen a tune called My Age Is.

* NELLY

The rapper and his reps said Nelly was younger than he was so that Teen People magazine would allow him in their 25 Hottest Stars Under 25.

But the Luven Me and Ride Wit Me rapper was really 28 at the time, proving that he not only struggles with spelling, but remembering also his age.

* JAMES BLUNT

In a bid to appeal to a younger crowd, Blunt knocked three years off his life until he was outed by the media at age 36.

The British singer was 30 when he shot to fame with his 2004 hit You're Beautiful.
