Steve Ball walks out on Reno Rumble

Reno Rumble elder Michelle Ball has labelled teammates Carly Schulz and Leighton Brow "pig-headed" and selfish following a major blow-up over a wine rack.

Ball told AAP that the SA couple sabotaged their lounge room design on Wednesday's episode by placing a wine rack that faced out of, and not in to, the kitchen.

It meant the wine rack had to be accessed from the lounge room side of the room where the Ball's had planned to hang a floating wall unit.

"I was so angry and I was more angry, because I thought why would you do this to a friend, a teammate when we are supposed to be working on a whole house and not just an area," Ball said.

"They are pig-headed.

"Carly and Leighton were not team players."

Tension turned to anger on the set of the Nine Network reality series when Steve, who was suffering a chest infection, stormed out of the house.

Ball let loose on the episode with a few choice words and now, even months after the episode was filmed, she's still a bit hot under the collar about the treatment.

Neither Schulz, Brow or the other team Ben and Jemma Van Ryt were overly concerned with Steve's ailment which forced him to be late for work and then take a nap during the day.

"I'm sick and I'm still out there and I'm not in bed during the day resting," Jemma says.

Ball did not Jemma had teed-off at Steve and was disappointed the other two teams, who are some 20 to 25 years younger than the pair, didn't show more sympathy behind closed doors.

"He had a really bad chest infection and he was really sick," ball told AAP.

"He just doped himself up to push himself through...but no one really gave a shit."

Reno Rumble airs on Sunday to Thursday nights on the Nine Network.
