Blur extend Parklife past Splendour
Blur won't just celebrate Parklife at Splendour in the Grass, the Britpop legends have announced they will also treat Aussie fans to some solo shows.
Many fans may have missed out on tickets to see the band at Splendour in the Grass as tickets sold out rapidly on Thursday morning, so the band's sideshows will offer another chance to catch them.
It's been 18 years since they last performed Down Under, and their scheduled slot at Big Day Out in 2014 got canned, so the shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth will make for a welcome return.
They have a new album to boot, The Magic Whip, their first in 16 years which will be released on Monday.
Along with Blur, other Splendour acts including, Best Coast, Everything is Everything, Wolf Alice and MO and Elliphant have announced sideshows for Sydney and Melbourne
The Wombats are going even further with shows in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.
