Pigs feared burned in NSW fire

As many as 250 pigs are feared to have been burned at a rural property in the NSW Southern Highlands.

Firefighters have been battling to control fires in a number of sheds at the Joadja property since 10am on Thursday.

There are fears up to 250 pigs may have been harmed in the blaze but the Rural Fire Service is yet to confirm numbers.

Thirty firefighters were battling the blaze with police due on scene.
