MKR cooks show to roast a contestant

My Kitchen Rules contestant Sheri Eddington has accused the show's producers of going out of their way to portray Kat Donald-Hill as a villain.

Eddington and fellow Queenslander Emilie Biggar were eliminated from the Seven Network reality show on Wednesday night after losing a cook-off to WA besties Eva Lean and Debra Ch'ng.

Eddington says she was fortunate not to have been portrayed in a bad light but the same can not be said of Donald-Hill.

It wasn't until Eddington saw the redemption round, when she and Biggar were up against Donald-Hill and Pagano, did she realise how it was edited to the detriment of the loved-up WA team.

"I see personalties being manipulated...it's chopped and changed and it puts certain people in a bad light," Eddington tells AAP.

"During conversations around the table, if someone said something Kat would actually bite back but it would only show Kat's response but not what was said to evoke that emotion."

"She is actually hilarious."

Eddington and Biggar escaped relatively unscathed in the editing room until Tuesday night's episode when they were seen to be feuding.

At one stage, guest judge Colin Fassnidge stepped in to simmer the tensions between the friends.

"It wasn't even that bad on the day ... it was not a good representation of what was going on," Eddington says.

Eddington says she knew their time on the reality show was over when they had to front Lean and Ch'ng in a sudden-death cook-off.

Lean and Ch'ng were awarded the highest ever score on MKR during the redemption round last week.

"We were a little doomed to fail when we knew we were up against Eva and Debra," Eddington says.

"We went in knowing we weren't the best team in competition and not even caring about winning. We were just glad we got this far."

Unlike most reality show cooking contestants, Eddington wouldn't mind if she never set her eyes on a commercial kitchen ever again.

"I do not have a food dream.

"I work in youth and disabilities, so I want to get into anti-bullying and mental health awareness and this show has given me a platform and more of a voice."
