Preatures Manfredi at Chanel show in Paris

The Preatures frontwoman Isabella Manfredi traded her rock star moves for fashion, when she appeared at the Chanel runway show at Paris Fashion Week.

The Sydney band are in Europe on tour and it seems Manfredi managed to get herself an invite to one of the most prestigious shows in the fashion capital.

Manfredi was snapped at Chanel's ready to wear autumn-to-winter 2015-2016 fashion collection in Paris on Tuesday wearing some of Karl Lagerfeld's finest designs.

She was pictured wearing a short-sleeved, black and white, double-breasted herringbone skirt coat with black tights and black platform heels. She complimented the look with some bright red lipstick and carried a signature Chanel bag in mustard.

It's a far cry from Manfredi's usual look on stage where she keeps a more uniformly plain look of denim jeans or black trousers and a simple white T-shirt.

Manfredi has explained her purposefully plain look before, describing it as a sort of "armour" for when she appears on stage.

"I think having a uniform really helps. Like having something you wear that you just wear for every show," she told AAP.

"It's kind of like putting on your armour before you go on stage."

However, when she's off stage, she has admitted that she likes to play around with fashion.

It seems with this latest fashionable appearance, she's been moving in all the right circles since the band went overseas.

After their European and US tour wraps up, The Preatures will be back in Australia to play at the Groovin The Moo festivals starting at the end of April.
