Hollywood react to FIFA World Cup
Whether they were in the stands or camped out on the couch at home, Hollywood was just as glued to the World Cup Final as the rest of the world.
Everyone from Rihanna to Ellie Goulding and Hugh Jackman weighed in on the match, which ended when Germany defeated Argentina in extra time with a final score of 1-0.
Rihanna, Sarah Hyland, Shakira and Gisele Bundchen all cheered along with the crowds in Brazil, with RiRi arriving with a Brazil flag painted on her throat.
"Congrats to my German boyz! This was the most epic experience of my entire life! You guys made me so proud to be here," Rihanna tweeted, also posting an image of herself wearing a leotard with the German colours and the caption "for my German boys".
Singer Shakira said "I will never forget this day at Maracana. Thank you all for bringing me here!".
And Modern family star Hyland said "we're here!!!!!! I can't believe it!!!", Instagramming a picture of her and beau Matt Prokop in the stadium.
German model Heidi Klum showed her home team support, tweeting a good luck message in German along with a picture holding up three fingers, painted with the colour of the country's flag.
Meanwhile singer Ellie Goulding, who was on the road touring in Finland, took some time out to catch the match in a deserted bar.
"In this dead bar watching the football. Where is everyone?," she posted.
Aussie star Hugh Jackman, who's been proudly proclaiming on Twitter he's FIFA obsessed, posted a picture to Instagram of the game on his TV.
"The wager is on #youknowwhoyouare! @FIFAWorldCup @Argentine @DFB_Team_EN ... IT IS ON!!!"
Who he put his money on and how much is yet to be known.
But he seemed pleased with the result, congratulating the German team on Twitter and saying their win was "well deserved".
