Sharks in the subway in new Sharknado clip
Instead of snakes on a plane, it's sharks on a train in Sharknado 2: The Second One.
A sneak peek of the sequel to the cult flick has been released online.
The three-minute clip shows a subway train thrown into chaos when a shark decides to rip it apart and munch on passengers.
Hollywood blogger Perez Hilton appears briefly to whinge about the train being late, but there is no word yet if he survives the carnage.
Meanwhile, former 90201 star Ian Ziering goes head-to-head with a great white, ramming a wooden stake into the bloodthirsty fish.
Local audiences might not be too impressed though, considering Australian-Singaporean sharks-in-a-supermarket movie Bait hit our screens just two years ago.
Tara Reid and Vivica A. Fox also star in the Sharknado sequel.
The sequel schlock horror will air in Australia on Foxtel's Syfy channel on July 31.
The telemovie will screen in Australia (at 11.30am) at the same time it is being aired in the US.
