Celebs who are addicted to the World Cup
It's the high-profile pairing sure to please women worldwide - Benedict Cumberbatch and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The velvet-voiced Sherlock star has lent his coveted pipes to a new documentary about one of soccer's most famous players.
A trailer for Cristiano Ronaldo: The World At His Feet recently hit the web, showcasing both Cumberbatch's narration and the athlete's rare skill.
It's good timing for those craving some star-powered World Cup coverage.
But as the competition heats up, even the A-listers themselves have found it hard to pry themselves away from their screens.
X-Men star Hugh Jackman confessed he was "addicted" to the game, while Rihanna tweeted a picture of herself wearing Brazil-flag thongs.
Stars of the American sitcom Modern Family also seem to be enjoying the show.
Colombian bombshell Sofia Vergara has been posting snaps of herself rallying behind her homeland - even throwing in the occasional "vamos".
Meanwhile, co-star Sarah Hyland was abhorred to learn a good friend of hers had ditched Team USA's colours and betrayed her.
She posted a picture to her Instagram account of herself in her US jersey, looking shocked by her friend's rival Portugese shirt.
"We didn't lose. A point's a point. So proud of our team! #USA," Hyland tweeted after the match.
Good Charlotte rocker and Voice Australia coach Joel Madden was also up early to cheer on his home team: "Up early! Let's Go USA".
Unsurprising, given he'd performed at the opening ceremony, rapper Pitbull was another famous face watching on: "Anything is possible #GoTeamUSA."
On the home front, Lara Bingle threw her support behind the Socceroos despite Australia's hopes of qualifying for the next round fading.
"GO AUSTRALIA!" she succinctly tweeted.
