'They're the highest I've ever written up!' The Block's Scott Cam reveals some of the best scores in the show's history as stylish grandads Mitch and Mark win $10,000 for topping the leaderboard on master en suite week
The Block's host Scott Cam awarded 'stylish grandads' Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie $10,000 for winning master en suite week on Sunday night.
But it wasn't just the Bondi couple who impressed Scott and the show's three expert judges it would seem.
While writing up the scores on his rotating scoreboard, Scott said: 'Those are some very high scores! I reckon those are the highest scores I've ever written up.'

A 'perfect score' of 30 has been seen on the program, with season 14 couple Norm and Jess being awarded a 30 for their week nine Terrace renovations.
While Mitch and Mark recorded an impressive 29, it was their score combined with those of their rivals that truly seemed to impress Scott.
The five teams scored 139.5 out of a potential 150.

Mitch and Mark's win came after they had an emotional week amid a 'homophobia' row with host Scott.
But on Sunday night's episode, the 'stylish grandads' romped it home with a major win with a kitchen and master en suite.
The Bondi couple were clearly emotional after the nerve-wracking room reveal saw the men's kitchen and master en suite renovation land them in top spot.
'We have a full kitchen, we have a full fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, an oven, storage for glass ware, this kitchen has everything,' Shaynna said
The two men converted their space to a kitchen and bathroom, giving the space a mid-century Palm Spring feel.
'This is the party penthouse on the third level and the parties are going to be rocking,' judge Shaynna Blaze said, clearly impressed with men's creativity.
'We have a full kitchen, we have a full fridge and freezer, a dishwasher, an oven, storage for glass ware, this kitchen has everything,' she added.
'It's consistent with what is happening on the rest of the floor. It's vibrant, it's fun and it's completely successful,' Judge Darren Palmer said of the Mitch and Mark's ensuite
Turning their attention to the bathroom, the judges first appeared less impressed.
'I personally do not like that mirror,' Daren said, before adding: 'I would never use that yellow glazed tile. I certainly would not put Cyan and yellow together.'
Despite his criticism, the design expert went on to compliment Mitch and Mark's style, saying that it worked on the rest of the interior of the property.
'It's consistent with what is happening on the rest of the floor. It's vibrant, it's fun and it's completely successful,' he said.

Judge Neale Whitaker and Shaynna agreed, saying the two men had 'chutzpah' for presenting their bold room.
The judges were impressed by the high standards the teams had delivered, with teammates Jesse and Mel also being lauded by the judges.
Shaynna was impressed by the space and luxury the bathroom offered: 'This has space straight away that makes it feel luxurious.'

The judges liked the layout, the space and styling, but Shaynna didn't like the use of strange lighting as well as the basin tap, which she called 'an everyday tap'.
'I've never seen a layout [like it],' Shaynna said of the lighting, clearly dismayed at how close the lights were together.
Tess and Luke had difficulties with time management during their renovations, which meant their shower window was not frosted ahead of the judges' arrival.

Looking past the mishap, Darren said: 'We're seeing standards the highest we've ever seen.'
Despite being impressed by the room, both Neale and Darren felt the grey feature wall in the bathroom wasn't right, but Shaynna disagreed.
'I love dark dramatic walls, like this amazing pillar,' she said, adding it connected to other colours in the room.
It wasn't a good night for couple El'ise and Matt who were criticised for their awkward layout after they divided their space in order to make a powder room.

Darren was impressed by the texture of their walls: 'I don't think I have loved a wall finish as much as I love that,' he said, with the couple starting strong.
But Shaynna and Neale were less impressed.
'That bath looks so small,' Shayanna said, with Neale agreeing. 'The placement feels awkward because it's so small.'
The judges went on to conclude the pair had put beauty before functionality, which wasn't a good decision at this stage of the competition.
Meanwhile, Andy and Deb impressed the judges with their clever use of water and light, with a ceiling sprout and a back-light for the bath tub.
However, a smoked mirror saw them gain the ire of the judges: 'Don't you want a clear mirror? Smoked so they look lovely - but not practical,' Shaynna said.
