The Poseidon Adventure
This classic disaster movie is an absurd, cliché-ridden piece of cinema, but it is magnificently over the top.
You can only marvel at its audacity as Gene Hackman's priest leads an assorted band of passengers - including an elderly couple, an ex-prostitute, a New York cop, a pop star and young honeymooners - through a capsized cruise ship in an attempt to escape.
Thoroughly entertaining, if unintentionally hilarious.
