Married At First Sight's Sam Ball says he's not in contact with ANYONE from the show - and has blocked Ines Basic on Instagram after their affair

After having an affair and leaving his wife to attend a funeral, it's safe to say Samuel Ball didn't make many friends on Married At First Sight.

And the Sydney tradesman told Fitzy & Wippa on Friday that he's not in contact with any of his co-stars, three months after filming the show.

In addition to 'ghosting' the other MAFS contestants, 26-year-old Sam also said he has blocked his former flame Ines Basic on social media.

When asked if he was still in touch with any of the Married At First Sight cast, Sam responded: 'No, I'm not in contact with anyone.'

He then explained that Ines, with whom he had an affair on the show, was 'blocked', but did admit he felt a 'bit sorry for her'.

''I feel sorry for all of us,' Sam added. 'There's a way you all get portrayed [on the show] and it's TV.'

Sam made headlines earlier this season when he had an affair with legal assistant Ines, despite being married to Elizabeth Sobinoff.

After secretly plotting a relationship, they were shown meeting up for drinks before getting into bed together at their hotel.

On Tuesday, Sam claimed that elements of his 'affair' with Ines were scripted by the show's producers.

In response to a follower on Instagram who told him to get an STD check after sleeping with Ines, Sam wrote: 'Sorry, this is TV. [The affair] didn't happen.

'If you notice Ines' change of apparel in the edit, night and morning, that will be a good reference point. But thank you for your concerns.'

Sam, of course, was referring to a MAFS 'editing fail' that made headlines last month.

Viewers were left baffled after Ines 'woke up' in Sam's bed wearing different coloured underwear to the night before.

Many people remarked on Twitter that this continuity error was proof that the couple's relationship wasn't entirely genuine.
