Never Say Never Again
Dusted down after a 12-year absence, Sean Connery is given back his Walther PPK revolver, a state-of-the-art toupée and his immaculate tuxedo, and is sent out to bring the world's baddies to book.
The plot is basically a retread of Thunderball, with some spectacular underwater action, and Klaus Maria Brandauer is good as the villain who hijacks a couple of cruise missiles and then holds the world to ransom.
The scantily-clad Kim Basinger and Barbara Carrera provide Bond with extracurricular fun, and it's an impressive outing for director Irvin Kershner - his first since The Empire Strikes Back.
