Josh's big goodbye
Gay entrepreneur Josh Rafter last night became the latest to be kicked out of Big Brother.
Rival nominee Helen Adams survived, but was dumped by her boyfriend.
Muscular property director Josh - who left the house to be greeted by his grandmother Gladys - received 84 per cent of the public vote to Helen's 16 per cent.
The decision was good news for the Channel 4 show's makers, who have been desperate to fuel a romance between 'dizzy' blonde hairdresser Helen, 23, and car designer Paul Clarke, 25, to boost the show's ratings.
Presenter Davina McCall revealed that Helen had meanwhile been dumped by her boyfriend back home in Cardiff - 30-year-old Gavin Cox -because of her flirting, hugging and kissing with Paul.
Miss McCall said: 'He does not feel they can be boyfriend and girlfriend any more. He still likes Helen and wants her to win and he says he wants her to call him when she gets out.'
Earlier this week Helen and Paul were treated to a romantic candlelight dinner in the compound's love shack but, despite the producers' best efforts, the passion failed to materialise.
The show's other homosexual, Irish air steward Brian Dowling, is now favourite to win the £70,000 prize, with Paul second favourite.
