Termites Attack
Everybody knows that termites are the industrious insects that live in large colonies in the warmer parts of the globe.
Voracious eaters, the massed ranks of these creatures can destroy huge quantities of crops and gnaw their way through the hardest of hardwoods if left unchecked.
However, as this wildlife documentary clearly shows, not all termites are considered to be pests.
In one incredible case, termites are even being utilised to help medical science by being used in human surgery: their clamp-like mouths are used to create sutures for closing wounds.
