When X Factor's Rhydian met Nicole Kidman

X Factor star Rhydian Roberts could be forgiven for looking pleased with himself.
He's not only tipped for X Factor glory but he also found himself on the red carpet with Hollywood star Nicole Kidman.

The willowy actress was attending last week's premiere of The Golden Compass in a stunning Balenciaga gown whose effect was not lost on the Welsh opera singer.
While the actress wowed the crowds in Leicester Square and towered over her husband Keith Urban, Rhydian stared appreciatively at the actress as if he couldn't believe his luck.

Yet Kidman remained oblivious to the devastating effect she was having on the so-called 'Welsh Weirdo'.
She chatted and laughed on the red carpet while Rhydian was so captivated that he could hardly take his appreciative eyes off her.
Just a few weeks ago, Rhydian's singing moved sexy X Factor judge Dannii Minogue to tears.
It looks like the Welsh singer's star is on the rise.
