The Sydney Soap Opera House
It's one of the world's greatest and best-known architectural triumphs - recently winning a Top Ten Construction Achievements of the 20th Century award.
It's a great pull for tourism, attracting more than four million people a year. But, as this documentary reveals, the drama, intrigue and in-fighting surrounding the construction of the Sydney Opera House, which was designed in 1957 by then unknown Danish architect Jorn Utzon, could have come straight from the script of a downmarket Aussie soap.
