They're two weeks into The Block and tensions have hit boiling point.

On Wednesday's show, Elyse Knowles' tradie boyfriend Josh Barker lost his cool and threw furniture out of their house, while Georgia had a go at Shelley Craft. 

Josh's temper flared when he couldn't find grout for his tiler which Elyse said had been delivered, with her remarking: 'He can get a little cranky and then it kind of turns on us and our room as well.'

Josh called Elyse - who was off site - to find out where the grout is. 

The blonde model was also in a bad mood when she hanged up on her man. 

'Elyse is in a great mood this morning, she may have got out on the wrong side of the bed today,' Josh said to camera.

Meanwhile, Georgia had a go at Shelley Craft and Domain's managing editor, Alice Stolz, when she and husband Ronnie showed them inside their guest bedroom which they're renovating. 

Scott Cam was also present, and Shelley and Alice asked Georgia if they're keeping the room in theme with the style of their house.  

Talking about the Victorian ceiling rose, Alice asked: 'Does it go with the style of the house you're selling?'

Georgia said she thinks it fits into the 'federation genre,' when Shelley chimed in.

'But federation, Edwardian, Victorian, art deco, are all very different,' Shelley said. 

She, Alice and Scott said their bedroom windows were art deco, while Georgia disagreed.  

'When we come in here I just feel this angst towards us. We're here to help you,' Shelley said. 

She continued, mimicking Georgia, saying: 'Yeah, yeah absolutely get the hell out of our house!'

Georgia calmed down and said she and Ronnie have to handle any criticisms better.
