Boxing: Audley Harrison v Michael Middleton
Audley Harrison follows in the footsteps of illustrious names including George Foreman, Muhammad Ali and our own Lennox Lewis as he embarks on a professional career after winning an Olympic heavyweight gold medal.
Graduate Harrison had an operation on his left hand following his triumph in Sydney, but is unlikely to endure too much pain tonight at Wembley Arena.
His opponent, 33-year-old Michael Middleton, has won only eight of his 18 fights, and was once floored three times before a fight was stopped in the first round, so this should be an easy debut for Harrison, who is aiming to be world champion within four years.
