Eyes Of Laura Mars

This Seventies thriller, directed by Irvin Kershner and co-written by John Carpenter, is heavy on austere style but light on plot.

Faye Dunaway stars as a fashion photographer who starts to have frightening premonitions of a series of grisly murders.

There is some genuine suspense along the way, as well as a veritable shoal of red herrings, but the storyline never really feels as important as the elegant look of the piece.
