Get ready for more Avatar! James Cameron reveals FOUR sequels will be coming out in the next eight years
There will not just be one more Avatar film - there will be four.
James Cameron made the announcement on Saturday on Facebook.
'Great to be working with the best team in the business! Avatar takes flight as we begin concurrent production on four sequels,' the veteran director wrote.

And the fourth will be released December 20, 2024.

Cameron said each of the four sequels will be able to stand alone, but will together create a saga.
