Move over Gisele and Gigi! Michael Jackson's daughter Paris signs with top modeling agency... and says she feels 'blessed' by new career
Paris Jackson has decided to finally claim her rightful place in the spotlight.
The 18-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson has been signed by top modeling agency IMG Models.
The 5ft9in beauty joins the same firm that represents the likes of Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, and the Hadid sisters - Bella and Gigi.
On Thursday, the blue-eyed beauty took to Instagram to announce her new venture into the fashion world, after the global company welcomed the up-and-coming starlet with open arms.
A shot of Jackson gazing up dreamily, her short blonde tresses styled into an 80s-inspired up-do and her pout covered in a bright, shiny red lipstick, saw her looking worlds apart from her signature hippie-punk self.
The caption read: 'thank you @imgmodels i feel very lucky and blessed (sic)'
The agency posted the same glamorous photo, which was first revealed in the pages of CR Fashion Book - with an accompanying interview by director Lee Daniels who would later go on to cast Jackson in his Fox TV drama Star - announcing that they are now representing the middle child of three.

Ivan Bart, the president of the internationally-known company, joined the welcome committee, posting the shot and dubbing Paris 'One singular sensation.'
He went on to share a photo of Paris holding a cobalt-blue gown to her chest, gracing the cover of the magazine, with the caption:
'Cover star @parisjackson has joined #WMEIMG for all areas of representation. We thank you #stiefelentertainment for the opportunity. The dynamic duo of Tom & Arnold have successfully managed Paris, and along with her, have given us this fantastic opportunity to join them. I just wanted to announce my thanks to all! #teamparisjackson'
Stepping into the spotlight: Paris made waves when she attended the 2017 Grammy Awards in a stunning Balmain jumpsuit
In January, Paris gave her first-ever in-depth interview where she explained that modeling was 'therapeutic' to her.
She divulged to Rolling Stone: 'I've had self-esteem issues for a really, really long time. Plenty of people think I'm ugly, and plenty of people don't.
'But there's a moment when I'm modeling where I forget about my self-esteem issues and focus on what the photographer's telling me - and I feel pretty. And in that sense, it's selfish.'
Joining the modeling agency will put Jackson alongside established fashion industry heavy-weights Gisele, Ambrosio, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, and more.
Confident: The tattooed-beauty took the stage for the first time since accepting her father's Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony in 2010
After rumors circulated that the tattooed offspring of Hollywood royalty had split with boyfriend Michael Snoddy in late January, Paris made waves when she attended the Grammy Awards solo in a stunning Balmain jumpsuit and took the stage for the first time since accepting her father's Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony in 2010.
She continued to incite headlines as it was announced she will make her acting debut on the Lee Daniels Fox drama Star, where she will appear in at least one episode.
Jackson will play Rachel Wells, 'a young, super-chic, stylish and intimidating social media guru who oversees a publicity shoot of the girl group and deliberately goads Eva and Star into pushing some boundaries,' reports The Hollywood Reporter.
She is set to appear on the March 8 episode of the musical.
