Chris Gayle returned to Australia earlier this month for the first time since his infamous interview with Mel McLaughlin.
And according to The Daily Telegraph, the notorious ladies' man went on the charm offensive during an industry party after he'd attended the Australian Open Players Party on Sunday.
The publication allege, in an article published on Tuesday, that the West Indian cricketer asked a female partygoer for her number at the Melbourne bash.

Chris became a father in April last year when his partner Natasha Berridge gave birth to a baby girl, Kris-Allya.
At the time, the 37-year-old announced that the newborn's name was 'Blush' - a joke in reference to his ill-advised interview with then-Channel Ten reporter Mel.
In January last year during a Big Bash League match, the batsman told the journalist 'don't blush, baby' after he had suggested they go for a drink after the game.

His comments triggered outrage from viewers and he was fined $10,000 by his team, Melbourne Renegades, for his sleazy display.
Chris has since maintained that the country's media had blown the episode out of proportion and he has played no part in this year's tournament.
On the anniversary of the incident earlier this month, the cricketer posted a bizarre video on social media, telling Australia to 'lighten the ph*** up'.

The Kingston native arrived back Down Under last week and spent time in Sydney before heading down to Melbourne for the Australian Open bash.
He was seen hanging out with fellow cricketer Kevin Pietersen and tennis star Nick Kyrgios at the event.
Chris was also happy to pose with a female fan, who later took to social media to thank him for their chat.
