The concluding half of this short history of the Celts takes us from the time of the Romans up to the present day, when the once marginal 'Celtic fringe' is showing such renewed vigour that it threatens the integrity of the United Kingdom.
With issues of race suddenly so topical, it is interesting to learn that DNA testing has proven that there is no such thing as a Celtic race.
Somehow, one can't see Robin Cook getting up on his hind legs to make that point.
