Life's Really Big Questions
Don't expect too many simple answers tonight as anthropologists, surgeons, geologists, astrophysicists and microbiologists from around the world get to grips with some of the 'big' questions that seem to splinter rather than divide the scientific community.
With little or no concrete evidence, theories are the only solution to teasers such as: How did life first begin? Are we alone in the universe? And will machines ever develop into a new form of 'artificial' life, recreating themselves at will independent of the influence of man?
Compelling stuff? You bet.
