Faking It
Sian Evans is one of the country's most gifted classical musicians. The conventional, retiring 22-year-old studies at a top conservatoire, but in the opening episode of this second series, Sian's challenge is to pass herself off as a DJ superstar at one of London's coolest clubs.
Learning how to control the decks and getting clubbers on to the dance floor is only the tip of the iceberg. Can Sian transform herself into a mouthy club chick with attitude in just four weeks?
She is dispatched to London to live with DJs Anne Savage and her friend Lottie. Between them, they must not only teach her how to master the decks but initiate her into club culture.
It's like watching My Fair Lady in reverse, and it's utterly compelling.
