Move over Becks, here comes Nancy!

As an Italian lawyer with ambitions to marry a Swede, she hardly qualifies to wear an England shirt.

But Nancy Dell'Olio sported her Three Lions badge with pride.

While Beckham, Rooney and Co were preparing for their friendly match in Denmark, 43-year-old Nancy was performing her own stretching exercises on holiday in Sardinia.

And according to friends, her choice of leisure wear was a clear message to her boyfriend, England coach Sven Goran Eriksson, who has been known to seek other female company.

"Nancy might not be with Sven but she is certainly missing him," a source close to the fiery Italian said. "She thought it would be funny to go jogging with an England top on just to show how much he is on her mind.

"It is not her normal choice of daywear but she does have a sense of humour and she wants Sven to know that she is supporting him."

Nancy, who recently lost a stone after cutting out wheat from her diet, is keenly pursuing a television career.

Eriksson was forced into accepting her move into showbusiness after his affairs with Ulrika Jonsson and FA secretary Faria Alam were revealed. Nancy threw him out of their London home and did not let him back in until he agreed.

But she also recently revealed that she was hoping to marry him and have a baby, despite his reluctance to pop the question.
